Just when I thought I couldn’t learn more about Facebook marketing–I did! Thanks so much Amy. So many ideas coming to me now about video and other avenues I want to take. My business idea is shaping into something tangible now and morphing into more than I originally thought. Love it!

Hi Jeff, the website above did not exist until last week when I followed the steps outlined last week and downloaded WordPress, bought the domain and found a web server. This might not sound much but I had no idea about any of this until I watched the presentation re, building your website, blogging and using WordPress (sorry can’t remember the presenters name) but her information was so clear and consise that I felt confident enough to try and although it is a work in progress it has at least been launched and given Christopher’s business an identity and form in the universe.
The site is for my son who is trying to build his own business as a personal fitness trainer. He helped me to put the package together, a sort of synergy of old and young talents and he has been suprised at how much is Mum has been able to contribute, he has also been able to watch your presentations and has gained real confidence from them.
However we now needed to look at using links to social networking sites to maximise his profile and increase traffic to his site (do you like the use of web lingo?? ) This is much more a concept that Chris can run with as he has been using facebook for ages and has his generations ease with this type of medium.
So Amy’s video this week has helped tremendously and because the program builds week on week it has all built on the momentum that is keeping our focus and enabling us to create real results.

I really enjoyed this presentation. I do have a facebook group but couldn’t somehow get it going. I understand now that the group thing didn’t work because it was not intended for my purpose. Now just to convert them to a page I am beginning to work on will be my challenge.
This session was really great at getting started and the fundamentals to do that resonated well with me!

I’m really upset becasue I was just getting into this programme when it blocked. I got it started again and it blcoked again, at exactly the same point. This happened to me on the third talk as well. What’s going on, can you guys fix it? It’s like someone offering you a delivcious slice of chocolate cake and then grabbing it offf you as you’re about to put it into your mouth!

The system isn’t “broken” so we can’t fix it.
This is the single most common video issue that anyone has with any video platform and it’s called “streaming speed.”
If your video stalls, it’s because it is playing faster than it is downloading from the server. To alleviate this problem, simply hit the Pause button and wait for a few minutes. When you hit play again it should work fine. The reason is happens at the same place each time is because that’s the place where you are “caught up” with the download and it stalls.

This download is taking forever! Have listened to 4 minutes in 20 minutes of time! Is there something wrong with the size of this download? The first videos were slow and then the next ones had almost no load lag and this is back to slowwwwwwwwwwwwwww….My connection has 5 bars up-double checked to be sure it was working properly. N

Sorry you’re having trouble. The issue is probably relating to streaming/internet speed. Simple solution is to just pause your video player for a few minutes and let it “catch up.” Then hit play and you shouldn’t have any trouble.

Amy did a good job, but I was a little confused about what she ment about Your Business Facebook page. Is that the same as the Groups? Could you clarify that for me. Thank you;

Your Facebook Page is distinct from a Group or your personal Profile. It is primarily designed for you to focus on your business marketing, promotion and providing great “sticky” and magnetic content to your potential business audience, clients, etc.
As an example, you can go to our Visionary Business University page to see the different between that and, for example, my personal profile. However, you will find in my case that since I live my business, the page (and my Twitter account, blog, etc.) feed both my page and my profile.
