and oh, if you want a pic to show with your comment, go get a gravatar!
brake. gas. brake. gas…just wanted towrite that I have purchased Noah’s package. and I am scared out of my gourd! interesting. well, I do think (since it is Monday- week 4 – and week 3 should be unavailable by now) that there is a reason.
I have a bit in common with Noah – New England childhood, feeling poor in a rich neighborhood, theatre background… so, even tho I felt the ‘infomercialness’ of this interview, I bought the dang thang anyway!
I wish everyone the best in their growth and development. My tribe is humans. Let’s play.
Natalie
Hi Natalie,
I’m so glad you noticed that it’s all still up there. I made a command decision over the weekend to see what the response was to having the programs available on the weekend. Week 4 will be starting up in a couple of hours.
Enjoy Noah’s programs…and remember, it’s OK to Ask for Money! That’s how you create your fortune. Noah gave great content and he did a great job of offering his program and MANY people took him up on that offer.
Surely as you bring your dream business out into the world, you will want people to pay you for the amazing value that you bring into their lives as well, right?
Important to keep in mind that this is Visionary BUSINESS University, NOT Visionary “Non-Profit” University.
One of the biggest issues I help my client overcome is that they should be paid VERY WELL for their services. Money is the chosen mechanism of exchange on this planet and the more you have, the more people you can help, the change you can affect and the better your life can be.
Wishing you all the best…
Peace and PROSPERITY!
Jeff
Hi Noah,
I have noticed the
I know you’ve been looking out for me and others for
awhile now. Amusing “trigger” words in your discussion
with Jeffry.
Yesterday, while driving back from the beach, my
gas peddle froze. I tried pumping it a few times, but
it was like someone had lodged a boulder underneath
it. I have had enough powerful manifestations to be
comfortable in believing this wasn’t a technical glitch
with my car.
It had never done this before.
A minute later, it worked again, but it got me
wondering – did this happen to bring my attention
to something ?
A minute later I pulled over, checked my car and
affirmed that I had forgotten my back-pack at the
beach house where I had been visiting friends.
Perhaps this was a metaphor for seeing how easy
it is to leave one’s baggage behind
Universe has an excellent sense of humor…
So synchronized with your discussion of gas pedals
and breaks as well.
Fondly,
Gail
I think it was the perfect divine order what took place and see my self now always asking befor I drive out from home and any visits.. …..why it is so easy to be always in the moment
why it is so easy to be always prepared for all things possible ?
why it is so easy to always have all things I need with me ?
lol…
Love and light for our all bright RIGHT QUESTION future!
I’ve got way too much to say on the self improvement topic so I’ll try and keep it short. I’d love some day to sit around with a bunch of other self improvement junkies and discuss our various experiences.
Unlike some others here, this one was my favorite interview so far. I haven’t listened to Bob Doyle’s yet because having his Wealth Beyond Reason program, I’ve heard a lot of what he has to say already, though I certainly will listen to it hear also.
This was the first I’ve heard Noah St. John’s ideas. I really liked the idea of afformations as opposed to affirmations which I hardly got anything from over the years. Turning the question around and asking “Why am I so rich ” instead of “I am rich” is brilliant and makes all the difference in the world.
But the best thing for me was FINALLY hearing someone mention something I’ve found to be true many years ago – people who are very successful are often the worst people to go to for advice because THEY DON’T KNOW what they did to succeed , it just came natural to them.
Years ago Tony Robbins said if you want to be successful in something, find someone who already is a success in it and ask them what they did.
Getting a lot from Robbins course ‘Personal Power 2′, I did just that. I asked people in many different fields of work. I asked people who seemed to do nothing but excel in everything , people who never seemed to fail or flounder. I asked an owner of a huge car dealership, two landscapers, a few contractors, a plumber, a photographer and the woman I now work for the same question :
” What do you think you did that resulted in your incredible success ? ”
I got the same response from everyone of them. Without any hesitation they’d shrug their shoulders and say,
” I don’t know … just opened the doors and people flocked in “.
THEY didn’t know themselves what it was that made them rise to the top while others who were just as skilled and talented – or even more so , failed or barely got by even though working longer and harder.
I was glad to hear Mr. St. John say it …. many incredibly successful people were NATURALLY good at it !
Most people have no problem admitting that all of us aren’t created equal physically ; not everyone of us can become a major league baseball player, an opera singer, an Olympic gold metal winner … no matter how bad we want it or what we are willing to do for it. We weren’t born with the superior genetics that are needed.
I believe the same is true with us ‘mentally’, not just physically. We all can make huge improvements but I don’t think all of us … probably very few … were born with the ‘mental wiring’ of someone like Bob Proctor or Tony Robbins who can go from making $4,000. to $175,000.00 in one year or some of these other unbelievable turnarounds we read about that inspires us to try and do the same.
This was the first time I heard any prominent ‘life coach’ come close to admitting that. I admire Mr. St. John for being honest about it.
I agree and think his simple and powerful explanation will do an amazing work for all of us seeking our real selfs…!
The master pieces of creations meant to be happy healthy and successful!
How easy it is actually making new like minded Friends?
Love and light for universal wellness !

Transformative! Excited to get started! Powerful Information! Now, take action and no shelf-life! (smile)
Why it is so easy to actualize a beautiful & very successful life ?
Nice to meet you all !
Why does it work? I feel that afformations is a very powerful and simple tool. It is really quite simple and brilliant. I have already started using afformations and have noticed results almost instantly. I am going to buy the continuing education product as soon as possible. This presentation does seem to go into pitching the product a little early but it also seems like a product of value. The whole VBU experience has been helping me to get clear and connect with my passion. I have even been having new ideas that will enhance my primary business. Thank you for this program Jeffrey.
The most amazing gift’s in our lifes are the simple things…..
Like being alive !
The most beautiful moments are the very natural and actually simply enjoyable ons….
i.e. watching a beautiful sun down … and so forth!
I ask my self now:
why it is so simple to be the beautiful person I am ?
Love and light for our all gratitude of what we all got already
Sigrid
So I got my notebook out and sharpened my pencil and sat myself comfortably at my computer ready to take extensive notes, as I have with many of the previous VBU presentations; but, unfortunately, there wasn’t much to take notes on. Out of all of the presentations (so far) this one was by far the most “sales pitchy”. It looks like you’ve already received several comments on this. And I’m glad to see that your explanation for this was that this was the first presentation you recorded, and have since retooled the other presentations to include more content, rather than just holding a pitch fest. In any case, I will NOT be buying this product. Instead, I will be checking out the book from library.
Overall it was great. A little disappointed. Would have liked to listen to more of the how to’s before buying the program. Felt like towards the end it was all about buying his program.
I Listened to Noah, what for me was, last night and felt to respond but decided to sleep on it. I have now slept on it. My feelings have not changed. As was expressed above I have been impressed with the information I have received thus far in your program. I am surprised that the other comments have been so much in accordance with mine.
This was the first time I had the infomercial feeling. The 5 questions that test a vision’s worthiness for me and so many others have been brilliant. Again I agree, with an above comment, that there was one other class that had an infomercial tinge but this one felt all infomercial.
That being said, assuming his package is still there when I can afford it, I will buy it. The questions approach feels right. In one of your other presentations the principal started through a numbered list of things. He did not finish it but it gave a solid indication of the direction of his thinking. I then had something more than the name of a list to help me decide if I wanted to go further into it. Here I only have the names of two things that if I buy I then will know if they are useful for me.
Do you realize that you stopped the interview with a bit more than 20 minutes left in the hour? From then on it was all pitch. More normal for you is 5 minutes for pitch. Was this because you realized that you would not get any more content from Noah?
On another subject, is there a bit of defensiveness in your responses to the critical comments you have here? I have not read others comments before but I assume that this tone is vastly different from what you have gotten so far and probably it hurts some. My perception of you has me expecting a response more in line with “Yes this was not our best presentation and I am examining what I can do to make it better next time.”
It seems that Noah has a lot to offer and he should be included in future versions if he can be convinced to deliver more content.
One last comment, I have experienced 7 presentations so far. Six of them have ranged from excellent to brilliant. Your percentages are awfully good. Sorry this happened on a week that also had the technology difficulties also. Your stress must have been high.
All my love and encouragement
Prem
Dear Prem,
I have enjoyed your comments both through email and on the blogs and appreciate everything you’re saying. Sometimes our “tone of voice” does not come across completely in the written word, so allow me to respond more fully. There is no “defensiveness” for me and I welcome the criticism. Again, I know that we can never please everyone.
There is such a simplicity (in a good way) to the way Noah approaches his work keeps things very pointed in an interview format but yes, I also felt that there was a bit more “selling” that I really intended in the beginning. At the same time, MANY people are choosing to invest in Noah’s continuing education program, so what does that say about the format? LOL
Also, you made an interesting comment about whether I should say “Yes, this was not our best presentation…” And perhaps it wasn’t yet I feel there was still very valuable content in this program, or I would never have released it. Noah’s was actually the first interview I did in the series…so I did adjust the style and format along the way. I have been dedicated from the beginning (as I have also shared with the entire VBU faculty before the interview) that this is not a pitch-fest…I am intending to create content-rich programs every week that leave the audience with something they can use and take away with each program, regardless of whether they buy our upgrades or the speakers’ continuing education.
One last comment regarding technology challenges… We’re stepping outside our own comfort zone (and hopefully setting an example for others) to create an event of this magnitude that has never really been done like this before (at least not that I’m aware of)…and I wouldn’t say we “expected” challenges like we had this week, but they didn’t come by surprise either. We were basically prepared for what could happen. And some things you can’t do anything about until they happen…such as our brief server issue yesterday. Fortunately, the issues did not last long and every week, we continue to find ways to make everything work better.
Again, Prem, I have appreciated all the input you have provided and your tone of appreciate, gratitude and support for what we’re doing here at VBU. And I also want to give credit, appreciation and gratitude to my amazing team, led by April and including Jessica in customer service, Ken on the video preparation and the contractors who made it possible for us to bring you this kickoff event for Visionary Business University.
Wishing you all the best!
Jeff
Beloved,
I am glad that you told this was your first interview. Makes sense. I read what you wrote just now should have done it before submitting. Beginning was barely coherent. Sorry about that. i found Noah personable and energetic. I believe his approach is likely valid and profound. If it is available when I can afford it I will buy.
I love you and what you are doing
Prem
Jeff I love your enthusiasm and I appreciate your creative approach in trying to get something of quality aimed at the mass market. I have been a success coach addict for about a decade now, and I truly have improved my life in many powerful ways. I always get something from every teacher i study with – but there is some mystical block which seems impossible to clear, with certain subconscious beliefs. I have witnessed much change in myself but its so slow in coming and I know there is more left to work on than i have thus far corrected. Noah truly is onto something and i am intrigued.
The problem is that because of my “addiction” my wife forbids me from buying every new motivational tool chests that comes along. I was hoping that your “classes” would be something close to a scholastic type venue, but of the four ive been able to watch, only appetizers have been served. Some very unique and tasty appetizers, but not enough to eat really. I wanted to purchase the full upgrade so I could download and listen to in my car, but because of my addiction issues, I (my wife) made myself watch a couple weeks worth to see if it was solid or just twenty-four infomercials. Sadly I must admit that what you are offering here, while you have done a wonderful job at promotion and production, falls very much short of what you appear to be offering.
I applaud your efforts to get us more meat, but Noah really was like a brick wall with your blatant prodding for something useful. He really pissed me off when he threw out the great five word “secret” at the end; Give yourself permission to succeed”!@&#? What! Well then, there ya go. I thought that was where we started at way back there in the beginning! One hour teasers aren’t gonna keep me hanginround, much-less buying.
Hi Jim (again),
I appreciate the way you articulate your points and thank you for the compliments. Fortunately (for us), not everyone agrees with you regarding the content. I made a very strong point of not making this an “infomercial” series…yet I believe that it is in everyone’s best interest to have the opportunity to learn more from a specific speaker if they choose to. With 24 programs like this, had we gone longer than an hour (average) for these programs, it would be too much for the average person to digest…and no matter how deep you really want to go, there’s only so much you can cover in an hour’s time. I have done my best to dig for the nuggets that will help the most people the most quickly and effectively, regardless of whether they invest in our programs or the speakers’.
Remember that for everyone like you who may know parts or even big chunks of this information because of their commitment to long-term personal development, there are hundreds, thousands, perhaps tens of thousands (and I’m only speaking of the VBU audience) who are looking for that place to start, that first spark…and then some guidance and strategy in putting the rest together.
And as for not being a “scholastic type venue,” that’s also 100% intentional on our part. If you’ve been with us through prelaunch, you know that we set the intention of bringing a new style of learning to this venue…because most people do not learn well in a standard classroom type environment. And even if they do “learn” (short term), they soon lose the information, particularly if it is delivered in the standard rote format. By mixing it up with sound, music, imagery and visual key points, the retention and attention is increased, and it also become more “fun” to learn.
I’m realistic — even about being visionary — so I went into this with the full knowledge and expectation that ‘everyone’ was not going to be enamored with every program…in fact, if we had pulled off the impossible dream of making everyone happy, we’d probably be doing something seriously wrong.
My belief is that what you need for you, you will receive…and we are very pleased at the worldwide positive response we’ve received here.
Also, please understand that there is a sequence to all this…and we are moving toward more strategic business applications as we continue with the programs.
I’d love to hear others’ opinions on this subject…because most of what we’re hearing is that the programs are over the top, particularly so with the hundreds of direct email responses we gave received from people who are choosing not to share their opinions in this public forum.
I always respect everyone’s viewpoint…especially when expressed as clearly as you have done here.
Your feedback helps us to create even better programs, so thank you again for your input.
Hope you stick with us…there’s a lot more great stuff to come…
Peace and Prosperity,
Jeff
Appreciated. Sorry so critical but I’m Virgo:)
As i said, i do appreciate your contributions and efforts at pulling out the nuggets. You have put together a great looking site and the format has all the potential to be life changing, if it gives away half as much as has been promised. I greatly applaud your whole vision and i am still hoping to be impressed. But – I felt that i should speak up concerning my disappointments so that you would know. Thanks for your thoughtful response.
I ran a restaurant for several years and toward the end I had adopted this law of attraction format as my personal philosophy. Eventually I realized (Spiritual epiphany actually) that it is the only way I wanted to live and that I needed to instill it within my working environment. I had a team of managers who I was mentoring and we had all become burned out by the chaos and constant struggle to put out a top quality product, conceive creative new ideas, and keep people trained (with the constant turnover of 150%). So, together, we committed to do this philosophic experiment in conscious business. I have to admit that I piddled some at the start, but eventually I asked for and received permission from my board to give this a try, with the stipulated time frame of 1&1/2 years. If it wasn’t achievable or affordable by then we would have to go back to the old.
We began by focusing on our employee training through a more thorough and structured training programs. Then (against all the old rules) we sought to attend to their emotional and psychological needs. The later was something I found myself rather gifted at doing. Ironically, one on one conversations with subordinates, was one of the things i most feared and avoided doing, for the near twenty years prior. Go figure~!!
So we began, through regular group and one-on-one sessions, to establish a whole new philosophy of operation, based upon the intention of creating superior quality and customer service, by focusing first and foremost on our greatest asset, our employees. We had a large library, which I had collected, of spiritual – financial – emotional – psychological self help tapes and CDs. As we would bump into the special needs of individual employees, we would focus on that issue, individually or sometimes in group meetings, offering solutions and teaching techniques – to the degree they were accepting, offer direct advice on ways to overcome negative tenancies or issues in their personal lives. At the group level we discussed and taught ideas related to conscious creation, law of attraction, and the golden rule. Tapes, CD’s and Book’s all played an important role, in both teaching and personal learning, as we went along. Each manager had personal projects, as well as personnel projects, which I was updated and would offer advice on a weekly basis. It was all very coordinated and seemed sometimes like a ministry. But it was working. It improved the environment 100%.
It was the most personally exciting time of my life and many involved still say the same. We created a closer more conscious environment where working was cooperative, where gossip was discouraged, where turnover was minimized, and personal growth was raising the standard of our products and service. Many found the loving and optimistic atmosphere, of this rather difficult job, to be a pleasant escape from the chaos of their personal lives. Creative ideas was encouraged and increased. Solutions to longstanding problems were found. Personal responsibility was increased and a group consciousness manifested. People began to own their jobs. Conflicts were fewer and often solved quickly by group intervention, as opposed the battle field mentality that had usually prevailed.
We accomplished most of what we set out to do, however we were not successful in convincing the Family Board Members of the beauty of it all. They felt threatened and that insecurity created great tensions which eventually caused me and my wife to leave the partnership, thus all was lost. My hope is to someday have an opportunity to do it again but as it is currently not likely and certainly not in the restaurant industry.
Sorry so long but felt like i should share it with you. There is much much more but not for here.
Hi, Jim.
I just want to say that I have never wanted to work in a restaurant, but I would if you had that atmosphere going on! I agree with the infomercial comments of you and Prem and was not going to post, but learned so much from your restaurant story that I am glad I listened and read the posts!
What a great business model – maybe you can teach that!!
I also love Sonia’s idea about powerpoint – a new twist on a vision/treasure map!
Cheers,
Kathy
Thanks Kathy. I appreciate that very much. If you watch the Gay and Kathie video its basically what and how they teach. I didnt realize it til i started watching that video last night but they wrote the Corporate Mystic, which was one of the programs that had a powerful affect on my way of looking at things way back when.
Take care.
Thank you Kathy! I really appreciate you letting me know.
) I never wanted to work in a restaurant either but Jim’s sounded great!
What is when we find out who we really are ?
Many of us have spend a lot of money on teachings, techniques and some of us still did not feel satisfied or better call it grateful….enough to receive the real gift!
Ever heard this one : We have to go through some bad ones to reach to the good ones ?! Ask your self the question: are there really any bad ones?
I just know that we all have to be very grateful for all of them because without experiencing a dark night we can not enjoy the sunlight!
And next very important issues is the emotional blockages most people carry from childhood …. which are the reason…the cause of their self sabotage of not trusting and loving them self enough to except all the gifts we got and simply , naturally succeed!
What is the difference between the ones out there being naturally gifted, so great and successful …and US ?
Simple Answer : Mind over matter !
We all need to recognise the power of the mind and learn to listen to our thoughts …. and then we are able to control them…..! Eckard Toelle is the master of the being in the now .. and in his whole teaching the main key is to recognise that there is a difference between our thought and US !
Our programs we are running on and the real US !
I can only recommend to all of the ones who are still ( thinking ) they are not satisfied with what they got from this program and out of their life’s…!
Simply first release your own emotional Blockages ( hold backs, massive hand-breaks ) funny behavior patterns of : easy getting frustrated, angry or just afraid and resignate !?
there is a way of becoming aware of who you really are and how to start a day of miracles and gratitude !
Yes possible …….for anyone……… who is ready ……. to invest in them self in the right order …in an professional therapist and then you will be able to ask yourself beautiful questions like :
why it is so easy to invest always consciously in the right self empowering tools what make me to the beautiful being I am here and now ?
Love and light to actualize setting your beautiful self free NOW!

At first I was feeling similar to Sylvie in that I thought I hadn’t gotten enough “How” to do it but had received tons of “why” to do it and reasons why I should just buy the program from Noah. As I reflected on what he said in the VBU presentation, however, I asked myself “What could I do if I knew what to do?” ;o)
A few months ago, I had made myself a powerpoint presentation of my vision for myself (since I didn’t know how to make a movie and didn’t want to spend the money for mindmovies right now). I set my powerpoint to music that inspires me. It is a slide show of affirmations about weight, money and relationships. I had never heard of afformations until today. What I decided to do was take all my affirmations and turn them into questions. For example, I changed “I am a successful entreprenuer” to “Why am I such a successful entreprenuer?” I will still be watching the presentation I created for my life, but now, instead of repeating the nightly Affirmations, I have changed them to Afformations. At the beginning of each section, I also added the question “Why do I give myself permission to ______?” (be slim, succeed in my business, give and receive so much love) Tonight will be the first night I will be implementing this change, but I noticed as I was writing the afformation questions and reading them, the feelings I was feeling were of a much higher vibration than those I had been experiencing with the statements. Thank you for the great job you are doing with the interviews, Jeffrey and thank you for bringing in Noah. I am grateful that his “why I should do this” was so strong that I was inspired to an action that I think will be very effective in achieving my vision for my life.
I am grateful to Noah St. John for addressing the issue of incompetent coaches. I hired a coach and paid for $15000 up front. After 2 months, I realised she wasn’t contributing anything. We speak 10 to 20 minutes weekly (she gave me 30 minutes at my request for the first 2 months) and it was more or less my reporting to her what I’ve been doing but nothing more. I then hired a NLP practitioner, googled everything and found hemi sync and Holosync. As disappointed as I was, I took my loss and did everything I can do to change myself. I think some people like being a motivation speaker, or a preacher (speaking to a large group of people) but they aren’t curious enough to make that fine tweak for an individual. As nice as she is, she just isn’t brilliant enough or she hasn’t practiced enough…I don’t know why. I think we all need to be working on ourselves in order to make that contribution. It is true .. so far, I have not seen anything as inexpensive as Noah St. John’s package. Thank you
Point well taken regarding hiring coaches…it’s a broad industry with a wide range of talent and skills. The right coach is a blessing and huge value to your life or career but the wrong one can be nothing more than a glorified cheerleader. It’s very important to choose the right coach for you.
I wrote an article about that recently called “7 Simple Steps to Choosing the Right Coach For You”…if you’re interested in checking it out, you can find it here:
http://www.mastermindmentor.com/freecoachingreport/
I didn’t quite understand the reference to Holosync…are you saying that this was a great benefit for you? I use another form of mind/sound/light technology that you’ll be hearing more about when I do my program in Week 8. Looking forward to sharing thoughts on that. I am fascinated by brainwave technologies and mind enhancement devices. I enjoyed Holosync but had a hard time sticking with it…
Agreed that Noah’s program is a great value…not the least expensive but definitely a great value and package for the price. In any program, one solid take-away can be a game-changer and more than pay for the cost of the program very quickly. We intend VBU, as an overall package, to also provide this level of value and hope you feel you are receiving that from the entire program.
Peace and Prosperity,
Jeff

Hi! I really liked that concept of asking the right questions. The only thing that disapointed me is that, beside knowing somehow how to formulate the questions, I felt left on my appetite with nothing to really work with. Even though I formulate a question like “Why am I so creative?” for example, what do I do next with that question? Just asking the question doesn’t lead me anywhere. I don’t know what to do with it to start getting a minimum of results.
I can’t help myself to compare with the other speakers. So far, every speaker, except for one other, gave us something at the end to work with even though they knew not everybody would buy their package, either because it didn’t click 100% with them or maybe they couldn’t afford it for now.
Well, that’s what I had to say. I like the concept but I’m don’t know what to do with it at least to start.
Have a great day!
Hi Sylvie,
I think your question about questions is a great question.
Here’s what I understand about how the brain operates. When you ask a question, you are lowering mental/emotional resistance to the core concept around the question, particularly as it relates to how your brain would respond to the same concept formed as a statement. Then, your brain immediately begins searching out “evidence” or “answers” to support the question.
So, you’ve asked your question: “what do I do next?” and now your brain is already going about providing you with answers and solutions to the question. This is where I turn to intuition or “hunches” that pop up. I call it this process “pay attention and follow the trail.” You have this intention set, you have asked the right questions and now you need to pay attention to what shows up for you in the form of an answer, an inspiration, a person, an opportunity, etc.
In addition, by repeating empowering questions on a regular basis, you begin reprogramming your mind and continue to break down internal resistance.
I realize that my answer is a bit “conceptual”…but keep in mind that we are in fact dealing with your brain, your mind, your subconscious…very conceptual and not non-linear in the way it operates (at least when it operates at its best).
Sometimes we want to make things more complicated than they have to be…and we have a core belief that “it shouldn’t be this simple” when we really should be asking “Why is this so simple/easy?”
Thanks for opening up this line of conversation. I was waiting for someone to get this point started.
All the best,
Jeff
Hi, I totally got the part about having my foot on the brake.
I have known for a while that I had blocks stoping me from doing what I know I need to, to get what I want- but I didn’t know how to get rid of them before listening to Noah.
As I understand what he said is that when you ask your brain a question it automatically races off to find the answer.
However it doesn’t actually matter what the answer is, it is the process that is started by the asking that is important.
The example he used is “why am I so rich?” what that does to MY head is make me think of all the things that I already have in my life that make it richer- the wonderful place I live, my health, my partner.
As opposed to what happens when I say to myself the statement “I am rich” it makes me think off all the things I want, that would make this true- but they are usually things I don’t have so I feel discouraged inside and don’t believe in it, therefore don’t take the actions required to make it come true.
I hadn’t realised all the negative questions I had been asking myself!
Thank you Jeff and Noah for showing why how to focus on the positive- I feel I have made the breakthrough I have been looking for.
